Blog Categories and Tags
What’s the Difference Between Categories and Tags?
Categories and tags help organize your posts in different ways.
Categories are used to group your posts into broad topics. Think of them as the table of contents for your LimeFunnels site. Categories are hierarchical, which means you can create subcategories under main categories.
Tags, on the other hand, describe specific details about your posts. You can think of them like index words for your site. Tags allow you to break down your content into smaller, more specific groups. Tags are not hierarchical and don't have subcategories.
You won’t see tags displayed within the post itself, but they help users find your article when searching for related content on our blog.
Note: All Lime Funnels blog posts must be assigned to a category, but they don’t need tags. If you don’t assign a category, the system will automatically place the post under the "Uncategorized" category. It's a good idea to rename this category to something like "Other" or "Miscellaneous" for better organization.
