How to Turn On Anti-Spam Protection in Your Lime Form
Spam bots love filling out online forms, but Lime Forms has a simple trick to keep them out, called a honeypot. A honeypot is a hidden field that is invisible to real people but visible to bots, and if a bot fills it out, Lime Forms will flag the submission as spam. This way, your entries stay clean, and you save time by avoiding junk submissions.
Follow these steps to turn it on:
Step 1: Open the Form Settings of the form you want to protect.
Step 2: Scroll down to the Form Options section and turn on the Anti-spam honeypot toggle.
Step 3: Choose what happens when a spam bot is detected:
Do not create an entry - Block the submission completely.
Create an entry and mark it as spam - Save the entry but flag it as spam, so you can double-check if needed.

If you choose Create an entry and mark it as spam, the suspicious submissions will still be saved, and you can review them anytime in the Spam tab of your form’s Entries dashboard.
