How To Set Up A Coupon
Coupons are a great way to offer discounts and attract more sales. Follow these steps to create one for your products.
Step 1: From your dashboard, go to Products > Coupons, then click the + Add Coupon button.
Step 2: Enter the needed Basic Information
- Coupon Code - The code your customers will enter to get the discount. Must be unique as it’s used as an identifier. Enter any alphanumeric code you wish (e.g., SAVE10). Coupons are not case-sensitive.
- Description - An internal note for your reference (not visible to customers).
- Discount Type - Choose one:
- Percentage Discount – Gives a discount based on a percentage.
Example: 10% off a $200 course = $20 discount. - Fixed Amount Discount – Gives a specific dollar amount off per item.
Example: A course priced at $100 with a $10 off coupon = $10 discount.
- Discount Value - Enter a fixed amount like "10" for $10 off, or "10" for a percentage discount.

Step 3: Set Usage Restrictions.
- Minimum Purchase Amount - Minimum spend required to use this coupon.
- Usage Limit - How many times a coupon can be used by all customers before being invalid (set to 0 for unlimited).
- Applicable Products - Choose which products the coupon can be applied to.

Step 4: Set Expiration & Status
- Expiry Date – Choose when the coupon will expire. It stops working at 12:00 am on the selected date (based on your site’s time zone). Leave blank if you don’t want it to expire.
- Status - Set the coupon to Active or Inactive depending on whether you want it available right away.

Step 5: Share Your Coupon
Once your coupon is saved and active, copy the code and share it with your customers through email, social media, or your website.
