How to Setup Your Branded Outgoing Email
SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. LimeFunnels uses SMTP to send out emails to your leads and customers. These emails can be receipts for purchases, reminders for scheduled calls, abandoned cart sequences or a host of others.
Rather than these emails coming from 'Signup for a free SendGrid account', it's important to send them from an email address that will be recognizable while giving your customers a way to reply.

Click here and follow the steps to setup your FREE SendGrid (now owned by Twilio) account.
- Enter your email address
- Enter a password
- Solve the captcha (if prompted)
- Check the Terms and Conditions box
- Click 'Create Account'
- Answer the survey questions
- Click 'Get Started'
- Twilio/SendGrid will now send you a 2FA (2 Factor Authentication) email to your email address. In that email click "Set Up Two-Factor Authentication"
- Solve the captcha (if prompted)
- Click 'Get Started'
- Select which 2FA method you'd like to use and follow the steps for setup. (most people select the 'Text Messages (SMS)' method)
- After you verify the 2FA method, click 'Go to Login'
- Log into SendGrid using the email, password and 2FA combination.
