How to Turn Test Mode On/Off

Testing the payment option on a site is essential to ensure that transactions are processed correctly before going live. By enabling test mode, you can simulate payments without actually charging, allowing you to identify any issues or errors in the payment system.

You can enable test mode in two ways:

1. Payments Settings - Puts your whole site in test mode (all funnels will be in test mode)

2. Funnel Settings - Lets you turn on test mode for a specific funnel

Turn Test Mode On/Off in Payment Settings

Step 1: Navigate to Lime Payments. Select the Payment method, then click Manage

Step 2: Go to Settings and tick the enable test mode box to turn on test mode, or uncheck it if you want to turn off test mode.

Step 3: Once done, click Save Settings

Turn Test Mode On/Off in Funnel Settings

Step 1: Go to Funnels. You’ll see a test mode toggle available for each funnel.

Step 2: Choose the funnel you want to test and toggle the Test Mode option on or off as needed.

Note: Don’t forget to turn off test mode once you’re done testing so you can start receiving payments.
